Rotman is the management school at the University of Toronto. Their investors’ report is aimed primarily at alumni and donors, and they were looking to shake it up and really capture the reader’s attention. The aim was to rework how the established brand identity (existing fonts, colours andphoto style) was applied in a meaningful, interesting way. The team approached the content as journalists, in an editorial manner, rather than as corporate PR.
